Combined with the strategies in the Happiest Baby on the Block we were not only able to get the kiddo down to sleep at night, but she would sleep for longer stretches. I really like this product. Unlike many other receiving blankets, my baby doesn't 'outgrow' this one. The size is bigger than most making it perfect for swaddling, throwing over the carrier, or laying on the floor. The material is very soft and seems comfortable to him. After receiving one as a gift, we were so impressed, we purchased more Swaddle Designs products. Their marquisette receiving blanket is great for warmer weather.

I love this blanket. I swaddle my newborn in it. It keeps him warm without overheating him, he sleeps through the night in it without me having to re-wrap it around him every two minutes like other blankets I have. And the elephants are his favorite animals too :)
